setting up voice mail thru a landline would use up airtime?

Please let me know if setting up my voicemail thru a landline or another cellphone would  it use up your airtime or not (by enter * when greeting starts)?

I checked my usage and could see it shows  the minutes everytime i accessed to it.

There's the usage details which you're seeing and then there's the overview counter. Trust the overview counter.

The usage details are just everything that happens in and out of your service.

But you need first to set up your voicemail with your phone or at least you need to "start" your voicemail (after a set up with another phone), with your phone and yes it will count some minutes...

No, it will not use your PM minutes if you are using landline or any other cellphone.

@Hct398  Accessing your voicemail would not use up minutes unless you do it from your cell phone.
