did you recently activate a new Public Mobile account ? Did you attempt to transfer your old number to your new PM account ?

Did you remove your previous SIM card and enabled your Public Mobile sim?

Reboot your phone and try again. You can also reset your phone networks and restart again 

If it still doesnt work,  use the chatbot to create a ticket.
