The “email” that is suppose to be sent with

The link to change password in self-serve option

Is taking an excessive amount of hours to be delivered.. unable to access account at all.

and when it finally shows up the link is expired and still locked out of account..

it is frustrating as hell.

I don’t forget my password. Chatter is more for city folk in my opinion :p. I feel my cellular device may have fallen into the wrong hands. I don’t want them to have access to something that doesn’t belong to them 😉

I prefer self serve. Chtr network doesn’t have the best reception, SIM cards don’t always read no matter what kind of phone. The self serve was an awful experience. Towards the final steps of creating my account/payingmychosenplan/portingmy# the whole page reset and signed me out. For  the first 2 weeks I couldn’t access my account online, it gave me a random phone # and the opposite plan I chose.

I want to be able to sign into my account adjust my account accordingly when needed and not wait days to accomplish what should take 2mins of my time.

Chatr self-serve was awful? Or coming here during the sign up was awful? It's not clear in your post.

The password reset has been disfunctional here for many months if not a year or so (before my time). So for that you need moderator assistance. Once you have it...DON'T FORGET IT! 🙂

There are other instances where you need their assistance too but you can cross that bridge when you get there.

Sorry, sadly the password reset is broken, you need to contact the moderator team Click this to send the moderator team a message and include your name, account number and phone number, pin number, date of birth, mailing address and they will get back to you asoon as they can between Monday-Friday 9am-9pm (EDT) and Satuday-Sunday 9AM-7:30PM (EDT)

Why is the Self-Serve password reset functionality not working?

There is a known issue that some Community members are unable to reset their password without the help of our Moderator Team.

What do I do if I‘m unable to reset my password?

In order to fix this problem, please contact a moderator. From there, they’ll be able to reset the password. Note that you will need to have a Community account in order to do this. Don’t have a Community account yet? Click here.

There are couple of ways you can contact our Community Moderators:

  1. Private Messaging: You can do this by searching for our unique Community Moderator’s profile avatar then, on the right-side of their profile, click on “Send this user a private message”
  1. Tagging: @If you would like a Moderator to weigh-in on a discussion, simply tag the moderator account in the post you created i.e. @ModeratorTeam

In the meantime, if you need to renew or purchase your plan/add-on very quickly so that your plan does not expire, you can submit a payment through the Automated Service IVR (More information, please see the All about payments article).

So what kind of self-serve problems were you having at Chatr?

Or do you just not like self-serve?
