Public Mobile delivered a phone to my home that I didn't order, Public Mobile charged my credit card for the phone. I initially ordered a phone then Public Mobile advised the phone was no longer in stock in the color ordered. Public Mobile asked me if I would like the phone in a different color, I replied no and please cancel the order, the incorrect phone was delivered anyway. I have the communication thread that shows I did not order the phone. Who is best to contact for a refund and arrange phone pick up. Thank you

Hmmm, This sounds much like the Amazon scam where items are shipped to customers and when they ask for a refund somehow they can get into your financial account.
But since you original place an order for a different colour phone which they didn’t have in stock...this could be a mistake by PM.

In this community there are only 2 ways to contact a moderator. Using the chatbot or through a private message. Below are the options. Which option did you use?

The moderator's address appears that way but not the address I was advised to contact. I've replied to the moderator, not sure what to do next. My credit card was charged for a phone I didn't order back in early December. Not sure who to contact for Public Mobile's shipping and credit card charge error.

I'm still trying to get a refund for a phone I didn't order. Is Public Mobile communication usually full of spelling errors and poor grammar? This is the most recent reply received; is it computer generated? I sent a picture attachment of the requested info.
We completely understand the importance that is to receive yoru refund, and we are definitely going to process the request so you can get as soon as possible, but we really need to get the information requested if you can help us out by writing the IMEI on the box we are going to be really grateful with you.
I'll be waiting for your response.

Thanks for the info. It would have been good if Public Mobile included a weigh bill or invoice with the phone they sent in error. The only address on the box that the phone came in was from a business in Ontario that ships for a wide variety of businesses. I've been very happy with Public Mobile up to this point in time. Thanks again.

Huh - so maybe there's no 'official' record of you even getting it.
If they aren't able to make the return very easy for you, I would dispute the charge from your credit card on the basis you were sent something which you did not request. I've done chargebacks from credit cards - none were denied.
It will be up to Public Mobile to make this right, and either put measures into place to re-acquire their property AND refund your card, or maybe even just refund your card and they won't bother with the phone. Who knows???

Thanks for the article. You're right this situation is different in that Public Mobile made a shipping and billing error. They haven't reached out to resolve their error - there was no weigh bill or invoice shipped with the phone.

you need to contact a moderator to help you can do so by clicking the chat bubble at the lower right corner,to avoid going around in circles with Simon say that you want a human to speak to, a ticket will then be generated briefly mention your issue
