I transferred my services (2x) and both had credits on the account. It was a monthly service. Looking for the money that I had remaining.

@GREYS_LOVER24    Ouch!!  Yes that's a lot of money to leave in your balance.   Hopefully you've contacted moderators as suggested earlier, and also, hopefully, moderators are able to refund some, if not all, of your funds as a gesture of goodwill.  I would persist in asking again with a different moderator even if your first request is denied.  Good luck!

 @GREYS_LOVER24 : I still wanted to know where you saw 3 months but I will say that I'm somewhat sympathetic to your issue. If it had been just accumulated rewards, I would have been much less sympathetic.

There was a customer some time ago that did come back to say that he did get refunded. I would say not the whole balance but to sift out what value was REAL money and what might have been reward money.

But it might have been a bit of a fight.

As mentioned, the general rule is no refunds due to it being a prepaid service. It's generally thought of as an unwise financial decision to deposit excess funds beyond a plan cost before renewal.

Pretty sure that's theft. Considering the terms said they would be refunded within 3 mths.

Not sure where you are getting that this is theft and the terms said it would be refunded within 3 months.

Where did you see mention of 3 months?

You could TRY to request a refund, but there are NO guarantees.

I would imagine the only circumstance whereby you might be eligible, is if Public Mobile extracted an amount from your payment card AFTER you ported your number out or otherwise requested account to be terminated.

To contact a moderator, there are 2 methods:

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click on the chat bubble in the lower right and type moderator assistance, then select account-related issue, then select you need a human now.  Follow the prompts to submit a ticket,  or,
  2. Send a private message to the moderator by clicking here

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

Were those accumulated reward credits? Or had you deposited excess money into the account?

@GREYS_LOVER24

Since Public mobile is prepaid, there is no refunds.  If you ported out and closed your PM account, whatever is remaining is lost.  Sorry.
