I just made my purchase and transferred my number from my previous cell provider to public
I can make phone call, but cannot receive any phone call. Please help

I had the same issue and even after calling my old provider to make sure the transfer was successful. It took around 2 hours I total and then everything worked normal. I would just wait a little longer and if not then open a ticket after

how long did you reply ?. and you reboot your phone?
After you replied, you have to keep reboot your phone until it recevies calls.
but you can still call the porting assitance team and ask if they see your authroization to port

How long has it been since you ported? It can take a couple of hours for the port to be completed. If more than a couple of hours, then contact the Telus porting team as described in previous post.

what you experience now is normal until your port is done
you got a text from your previous cell provider and you reply yes to authroize the port? if you didn't, the port stuck
