porting the number from koodo

I just active a sim card, I would like to transfer my koodo phone number to PM.  When I active the sim card, I was told I should contact PM when porting the phone number from koodo. Can I transfer by myself or I have to ask PM to port the phone number for me? Thanks.

Welcome to the community, as well to PM. Porting your number from Koodo is not something I would suggest you to do yourself. The best thing is to choose a temporary number during the activation process and let one of our moderators do the job for you. 1. Activate your account with a new temporary number, 2- send that number, your name, your Koodo account # and PIN #, and your Koodo phone number in a private message to @Mary_M or @Shazia_K and they will take care of that for you.
