porting number from koodo

I have opened an account with Public Mobile and followed the steps to port my number from Koodo including responding to the message with yes . I have checked with Koodo and they have released the number but 24hrs later still no service from Public Mobile   sim card re-inserted and phone rebooted multiple times still no service
