I tried 3 times but not successful.
the error message was " the number was belong to another carrier"

So is your PM account active? Did you leave the PM sim in a phone? It's perhaps possible that Freedom can't receive the number due to a rate centre incompatibility. But again all this support is to be from Freedom.

but you can receive friend's text without problem still?

the freedom mobile tried another 3 times and still can't get the # from the PM. as they told me that i should ask the PM to release the # manually. what should i do to follow ? thanks in advance.

Freedom has to deal with this, not Public Mobile.
Just make sure your PM account is active and that you gave Freedom the correct account credentials for the port to occur.
