phone calls

both our phones Apple are suddenly unable to be heard when taking incoming or making outgoing calls. The chat box made some suggestions but we can't sort this out. No point in having a phone when it doesn't work as a phone. We are in Yukon. No one else seems to have problems if they are with Public Mobile. Help?

If you turn off IMessage...does texting work. 

Does SIM work in a different phone? Do other phones close do you work....PM Telus Koodo or Bell?

When you call someone....do they hear you?

You have to determine what the issue is first.

Since you have 2 iPhones.....unlikely a phone issue. But might be if a 4 or 4s. What models are they?

HI @Suej   you have 2 Apple phones, try to sway the sim between them.  This action could help to reset something on the system and could resolve the problem

and another question, mobile data working?

Is your data and text working fine?  Account status active versus suspended?

A few basic troubleshooting advice:

Reboot phone

Network reset of phone

Remove Sim card, try in another phone (if possible) and re-insert into original phone

Manually select 3G network.

The Yukon is a territory of Canada. We have had coverage just fine here until a few days ago. We can't hear people call in nor can they hear us calling out. Other PM users in Yukon are fine.

Thanks for your offer to solve the problem but that isn't the issue
