@kentnleung, you are cutting it pretty close. Judging from my friend's experience, you are going to be just in time. My friend put in an order on the previous weekend and it arrived on Wednesday, so basically 3 working day turnaround. The next working day is Tuesday, this thing ends on Thursday. You will have Thursday evening to get things done. An alternative is to ask around for spare SIM cards.

There are no gurantees. You are cutting it very close. I know that large companies do sometimes get things out on weekends and things can often get shipping on a Saturday or Sunday and still get delivered on a normal Monday. But officially, there is no mail service on Monday, so it's best to assume that nothing will happen until at least Tuesday, with the earliest possible delivery being Wednesday, depending on where you are.
Also, we really have no idea of how long Public is currently taking to process sim card orders. They could be doing it same day, next day, or 3 or 4 business days. So, you need to add order processing time to the shipping transit time as well.
Shipping transit time depends on where you are. By Xpresspost standards, Mississauga Ontario to somewhere such as Vancouver, Quebec City, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary, etc. (major cities) takes 2 business days. Assuming shipping out on Tuesday, that's barely arrival in time (but it could also take a day or 2 day extra for Public to process the order). Mississauga to Toronto, Windsor, Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, Barrie, London, Ktichner, etc. should take 1 business day to arrive after the sim card is shipped. Shipping to many places by Xpresspost in Canada takes 3 business days if the destination is even slightly outside a major city. Then, we also have very rurual and remote locations, some of which Xpresspost only promises delivery within 7 business days.
You're just going to have to cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Yes, you'll be able to activate outside of those specified maintenance times. The SIM cards ship from Mississauga by Expresspost. The shipping time is stated as 3-7 business days, but depending on your destination, it could arrive quickly. For example, if your destination is in Ontario, it will typically take about 3 business days. I got my SIM in Toronto in 2 days. The worst that could happen is you'll miss the deadline, but you'll have spent $5 on a SIM card that you'll have in hand, ready for the next PM promo.

I think you will be out of luck System Maintenance- 4th-5th-6th of July
the maintenance is only out of servce at selected times so i can theroetically active while the system is up.
the only issue is getting the sim on time.
i only stumbled on this promo when my brother mentioned this and he only saw it by chance on the google feed while surfing the net or else i would've missed this chance and stayed with freedom for god-knows-how-long, suffering from that awful 3G speed
I have spare Sim Card, if interested at cost, I am located at GTA
