That $10 plan does not included unlimited text messaging. It includes 50 outgoing messages.

@annnicholson : Do you have another phone to try the SIM in? That would help narrow down whether it's a service issue or a phone issue.

sorry do you do this

# 1. To get the obvious out of the way...you used 011 or +1 in front of the country code? Sometimes there are some extra leading zero's in country codes and "foreign" area codes. Maybe try not using leading zeros.

# 2. do one thing take your SIM card out and waiting for a minute and put it back and do rebooting your phone is will working,

what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

if you still have not working you have to Submit a ticket to a moderator.

@annnicholson : It's a great plan for low usage customers. I have 3. But it sounds like you've used the 50 minutes. That's _all_ calls. The $5 add-on is a great add-on for these limited minute plans.

@annnicholson wrote:

@annnicholson   That sounds like the discontinued $10 plan which was a great plan for limited or emergency usage phones.  I have couple of those in our household too.

Edit:  So you are possibly out of mins for that plan?  Have you added the $5/500 CW mins add on to supplement that plan?

Edit 2:  Also if you've been with PM for a while, then you should have received the free mins/data gifts over the last couple of summers/winter period which included international that allowed for calling within Canada?

100 talk mins per month unlimited text  , been on it for 6 years

@annnicholson   That sound like an old plan.  How much are you paying?  The newer plans offer more mins/data including unlimited incoming mins, so it might be worthwhile to change.

Edit:  PM's current $15 plan offfers 100 mins outgoing plus unlimited incoming mins/unlimited international text and 250MB data with autopay.

@annnicholson Did you check self-serve?  it is still show how many minutes left from the 100 minutes? (if you don't see the entry at all, that mean the 100 mins are used up.  You would want to check Usage history)

If you confirm that you have minute left on Self-Serve.  Try to re-seat the SIM card on phone.  If still fail, you need need to open a ticket with Mod

thanks, i have canada wide on one phone plus my landline,

@annnicholson  you have public mobile showing up on top of the phone?

Incoming calls work? how about data?

cannot dial 611, says it is a long distance call ,,,,,, online account says  good until june 9 th, and have not used up  all of the mins

@annnicholson    You may want to update your plan as all current PM plans offer Canada wide calling.  Just a reminder that any grandfathered/discontinued plan will be lost for good after making a plan change and it's always best to schedule your change to happen at next renewal as PM doesn't prorate or refund.

@annnicholson : Can you verify that you dialed 611 and it connected and told you when you're next renewal will be.

Can you login to your self-serve account?

If so, then try that dollar idea mentioned earlier. I know, sounds goofy, but it's been known to kick the account a little. There's another function to try but we'll see what you answer with on these few questions.

@annnicholson : There's no such thing as two phones on one account here. Has this SIM in whatever phone ever worked?

@annnicholson   Log into your account and purchase the $5/500 mins Canada wide mins to supplement the plan without long distance mins.  Make sure to first add the money to your account and then make the purchase of the add-on.  Unused mins from the add-on will keep rolling over every cycle until completely depleted.

@annnicholson    What plan are you on?  Although it's a bit odd if incoming calls are getting a busy tone too.

You can try rebooting/toggling airplane on/off first too.  Another thing to try is to top up your account with $1 and restart your phone.

So you dialed 611 and it said something about your next payment? Or did it say you suspended and wanted money?

Are you able to login to your self-serve account?
