account is on hold as old phone was lost. Now what, I have a new phone, new sim.

Once you change the SIM card number. Reboot your phone by powering off then back on.

that finally worked. but how do i activate the new phone sim still says unactivated

You will need to login to your account (on the PM app or online) and have the 2FA code sent to your email by clicking on Resend Code/Didn’t Receive Code.
Once you are in your account, go to Account tab>Change Your SIM Card and enter the new number.

@DonWalker, are you able to sign into your account?
If so, click on Profile, Manage Eversafe ID. You will see old SIM , click on the pencil or eye and change save.
If you cannot signin, you would need customer service to do it for you. Use the link below to contact them.
