You can choose first a number with public mobile and when everything is ok with your activation you can change your number with the moderator for prepaid koodo or by yourself in your self-serve account tab PLAN/OPTIONS and CHANGE MY NUMBER.

@sophial28 Make sure your old number is still active and not suspended or canceled. Then just port your old number to Public Mobile.

@sophial28 That is called porting your number. In order to port your old number your other account must be active otherwise you will not be able to transfer your number. To port your number you need to login into your account to set it up. You will need your old account number, name on the account and the phone number. If you are trying to port your number from a Koodo prepaid account you need to contact the Moderator Team

Okay, so you want to "port" or use your old number to public mobile.
You need a public mobile sim
Then once you have bought/got it, go to publicmobile.ca and register the new sim, in the second step (page) you will be asked if you want new number or port/transfer old number.
You can follow the steps from there, pretty neat and easy.

@sophial28 You can change your number on your renewal date. You can go to My Account to make changes.
