Hello, I am trying to get my eSim set up on my new phone (currently have the eSim on an Android Pixel 3), and so I downloaded the Public mobile App but I keep getting this error. I have already restarted my phone and everything and you can see I obviously am connected to the WiFi because that's what I used to download the app in the first place (screenshot included at the top and you can see I have 3 bars WiFi).
Can you send me an eSim QR code instead? I don't know how else I'm supposed to set up on my new phone since my Pixel doesn't seem to scan the Iphone QR code for eSim transfer either.

I am having this same issue with my new iphone17. How do you "clear the cache within the app" please?

I had the same issue, tried rebooting / re-installing Public Mobile App. I also had a strange issue with some of my restoring apps that if I tried to force them ios 26 would say "would you like to download this on a roaming blah blah" when I had absolutely no eSIM even available let alone connected.
I wiped my phone, and restored from iCloud (NOT from my old phone) and that fixed my issues. I did not use my old phone for any part of the new restore. Not sure but figured I'd put this here if it might help anyone.

Hmm it eventually started working. Not sure why. I suspect the iPhone backup restoration process was hogging the wifi, so to speak. It worked once the restoration of all my apps was complete.

Idk if you are with Rogers, but I had to switch my Rogers so that instead of 1 wifi it was 3 (i..e a 2.4G, 5G, 6G) and connected my phone to the 5G one - it wouldn't work any other way with my 17 pro too

Have you deleted the app? You can ask an agent and see if they can help you. Just send them a message. Since you cannot sign in send them a direct message.

I tested my wifi, restarted the router. It's working fine. The app is the problem. Several other users are having the same issue. Is there another way to purchase an eSim and get the QR code ?

Clear the cache within the app, uninstall and reinstall.

Hi,
Can you try from another wifi connection. Or disconnect your phone from the wifi and reconnect again and retry.

Although your iPhone is showing good wifi signal but it also indicates the wifi is unstable. It happens to me when I am on public wifi. Not an issue with my home wifi.
