I can see that I have already answered you here about your mobile.
Yes, it will function but only on 3G.
Please note that Public Mobile is currently in BETA. They are temporarily accepting new customers only by invitation.
New customers must join the BETA phase at http://publicmobile.ca/en/on/beta
You will be contacted by email within a few weeks. Once you receive your invitation code, you will be able to subscribe on Public Mobile and order a free of charge SIM card.
For now, there is no faster way to subscribe on Public Mobile. They are in BETA to make sure everything works perfectly before the official launch.

HELLO RECENTLY SPOKE TO A REPRESENTATIVE WHO TOLD ME THAT MY HUAWEI HONOR X2 is compatible with public mobile they've ask me to type in my imei I did but doesn't look compatible and I need help to get a sim card to my address please help

Public Mobile is owned by Telus.
Your phone will function but only on 3G UMTS/HSPA (850MHz and 1900MHz)
LTE won't work because this model does not support band 4 (2100MHz and 1700MHz)
However, the phone support LTE-A band 28 who is 700MHz but I don't think Telus launched this frequency yet.
