I'm a PM hero subscriber getting 1 GB/mo. and paying $25 before tax. I'd like to increase my data. A friend is a PM subscriber getting 6GB/mo. for $23. Obviously I want more of what he's getting but the only available plan I see is 4 GB for $25. Three questions: 1) is there any chance of an offer like my friend's coming up? (in which case I could watch and wait), 2) do I lose any of my accrued points if I subscribe to something new (in which case I'm one month away from some rewards so might as well wait until afterward), and 3) I just got a promotional text from PM inviting me to get a 5 GB plan with Telus for $25 a month... why? Is PM trying to eliminate itself?

you can only change to plan available on your My Account's Change Subscription page.

1. you can only change to plans you see there, so, if you don't see the $23-6GB plan, you cannot change to it
2. you won't lost any of the Public Points you have now. But when you make plan change, use Change on Renewal option to schedule the plan change on renewal if you don't need the extra data immediately
3. Telus owns PM and Koodo so Telus and Koodo will send promotion text like this. Telus does not really mind if you change within its different brands
