PM is Public Mobile
They can re-provision the account , pretty much like refresh the account, to clear things up

PM? do you mean customer service? and what does re-provision mean

You can call Canadian number with a 1 too.
But ask PM to re-provision the account to resolve the issue

my uncle is visiting in the states.. the acutal phone number is a candian number so if i put a 1 in front i get the message this is not a long distance call do not use 1

Usually a phone reboot would clear up. If not, try calling with 1 in front of the number and try calling without a 1 , one of the two ways should work

@munchvox Try putting a 1 in-front of the 10 digit contact and try again if all else fails you can ask support to investigate
