Just to add on since this hasn't been mentioned, if you've previously purchased an eSIM with pm, when you download the pm app, purchase another eSIM for $5, when you get to the checkout, it will be free of charge.
Instead of transfer, you buy a new eSIM using the app. Download and install the app on the new phone , login and buy from Account -> Purchase sim card and choose eSIM
Download the PM app on your new phone. Login into your account and then purchase another eSIM. It should be free. Once you purchase the new eSIM will be installed on new phone.
