During activation process I went one step to far and rather than entering my cell number I got to the screen to select a new number. I want to go back 1 step and enter my cell number so how can I do that. Can I start activation process over again.

If you've paid already (which I think you have) then they should be able sort it out for you.
But again, what do you mean by could not validate?

?? That random number would have become your number. What do you mean "could not validate"?

I tried activating with a dummy number picked at radon but I could not validate so I am getting in deeper.
How do I cancel and jsut start over

Just pick a number from AB, pay only GST, then after all set up and you're satisfied with how everything works then transfer your number in. Just look at the new number as disposable. After that then you'll pay taxes based on your area code.

you cannot start over
What you can do is to pick the new number first, complete the activation.
Once completed, go to My Account's Profile page, pick Transfer Number and then you can request transfer there
