hi im trying to activate but my card is not registering. this is my 3rd time trying any help please?

        Goodness some members need to read the community updates today....but I will explain it for you which is the least they could do if they are sending you unsolicited referral link.....which are to be refrained from being done here.

        Koho is an online only bank that is very easy to sign up for especially if you just want a high interest savings account. With it as your "bank" card is a visa/debit that you can use for autopay. You can still use vouchers, use autopay or pay manually from the card.

        It also comes with 0.05% cash back, an additional 2% cash back when you pay for public mobile as they are a partner. Signing up with a referral code adds an additional 1% cash back for you or if you refer someone you also get an additional 1%. So by signing up with a referral code and registering the koho card for autopay you will recieve the $2 reward + 3.5% cash back when you pay for your pm service.

        Oh and they mail you your card within 5 to 10 business days. I tested it out to get it and signed up in 5 min and recieved my card in 5 business days....now it sits in a drawer because I don't need it. But my roommate got it and it works great for him....so it's an option for you!

They are probably trying to get you to sign up with their koho link. I can only assume they are trying to be helpful. Probably not a scammer. You can choose to ignore it or click the report message button if you feel it is sketchy.

You can contact customer service by opening a ticket through the BOT in the corner. Click in the question mark type in payment not working then contact us.

Sorry but I didn't want you to fail again before I had a chance to type out the instructions!

@6star  as long as you are trying to use one of the accepted methods,  one of the following credit cards, issued by Canadian or American financial institutions and registered to a Canadian or American address:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express

Or Mastercard or  Visa Debit cards. It should work. 

 

Wait 50 minutes from last attempt,  clear your browser history,  go to private/ incognito mode and try again to activate your SIM card.  When entering your debit/ credit card information:
1. Enter the credit card address exactly as it appears on your statement ( capitalize all if necessary ).
2. Leave the apartment field blank, if applicable enter your apt in the street address field ie xxx - street address.
3. Enter your postal code without spaces ( if there is a space on the credit card statement then enter the first 5 digits only with the space).

@6star  When entering the address don't use the apartment field. Do not use special characters enter the address add it appears on your statement.

Dont try again until you follow these instructions to come....!!!!

 

If you fail again you will likely cause a security lock on your card and require the moderators to take the lock off and enter it for you. Follow this advice to enter your card...

  1. Clear your browser and reboot your device.
  2. Open one tab only and use incognito/secret mode in chrome, Firefox or safari.
  3. Copy the address from your cards billing address.
  4. Leave the apt/unit box empty and enter a suite #(if any) before you're street address.
  5. Do not put a space in the postal code.
  6. USE ALL CAPS IF NECESSARY.
  7. Check your exact address with Canada Post as this is how you're billed.
