I’ve used my full data for this month, but I would have to stay nine days without internet which is why I tried to top up the plan I have now so that I would have more data but it showed me that I would have to pay again the full amount for a month while the one I have right now will expire in nine days as said. The amount that I would have to top up is 50 dollars but since I’ve already paid 40 is there a way to just top up to have more data without having to pay the 50 dollars?

Decide how much data you will need for the next 9 days compared to how many rewards you have? If you renew early or change your plan now to the $50/10.5gb plan your rewards will not be applied until you complete a full 30 day cycle....on your next renewal with your new 30 day cycle date.
You will double your data for $10 more than your current plan ( and gain unlimited US calling from Canada). Renewing your current plan early has no real advantage unless you have a grandfathered plan and changing plans would means you would lose it.
Or the $15/1gb add on is a one time purchase that does not expire so it will roll over if you don't use it entirely in tbe next 9 days and you will get your rewards applied upon renewal in 9 days. Consider your options before you make a final decision.
You can always schedule a change plan on next renewal back to the $40 plan if needed.

@agataseba adding funds does not provide you more data allotment in your plan.
Will 1GB suit your needs until your renewal? For $15 you can add it, find it here:
Be sure to:
1. Add funds to your account, if you don`t have sufficient funds
2. Go back to the Add-Ons page and select your Add-On.
Any unused regular addon will stay on your account until used up. So if you still have some left at renewal time, it will stop getting used and your plan data will kick back in.

@agataseba- you can buy a data add-on, or contact customer service and ask them to start you next cycle early. You would lose the time left on the current cycle though.

Your options are:
To buy data add-ons at $15 per GB to hold you over until your plan renewal.
To change plan immediately to a different plan which starts a new plan and no pro-rating.
Ask the support people to renew your plan early which also starts a new plan and no pro-rating.
