can't get started

24 hours ago I joined PM and got a welcome email with all my account information.  The SIM card is not showing any service in my phone.  And the number I am trying to port from Rogers Pay as You Go is still active.  I contacted the moderators (sent them messages 2 times yesterday) but have not received a response even telling me they are working on it.   I can see these two messages in my sent folder.  How long would this take to hear from them normally?  Thanks

But shouldn’t @jvmf  have service on phone with the PM SIM installed? Not incoming but outgoing calling and data if the plan includes data. Says has No Service indicated on the phone.

From what I’ve read here you can continue to use your old Rogers SIM until it stops working, and at that point the port is complete. Then you can swap in your Public Mobile SIM, restart your phone and you’re good to go.

the mods take 48 - 72 hours to respond, sit tight they'll get back to you, plus there are some system issues going on right now.
