Hello! Are you using your phone inside a concrete building or in a basement? Try going outside and see if the SOS changes to bars.

HI @preet2175   you just activated with PM?

If you are, your sim not is not setup properly on the system, you need to open ticket with PM CS agent:

First type Contact,
then select the only choice there: "Contact..",
from the list of , choose "Other"
finally click link the blue link about submit a ticket
Another page will open and just follow: .

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM

If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can open ticket by private message (but this can take longer):

@preet2175

Did you power off the phone or just turn off the screen?

You need to power off the phone by holding down the power button and power off then power back on your phone.

@preet2175

Firstly, where did you get, and how long have you had, this particular SIM card?

You can try to gently remove it and clean the gold contacts using a soft pencil eraser, or a small bit of rubbing alcohol on an Q-tip.

After it's dry, place it back in the device, and reboot the device.   Any change?

Also, try another known working SIM card in your device to see if all calling & texting features work.  This will exclude the issue as being the SIM card vs your device.

@preet2175

When was your renewal? Do you have active service?

Did you purchase your phone brand new or from a reputable provider or retailer? Or second hand?

Log into your account and check your status of your account services....

Check your IMEI# found in your settings under About Phone...
