HOW TO SET PASSWORD FOR VOICEMAIL?

THANK U

Log in to the self-serve and do reset voicemail password. This resets it to your 10 digit phone number. Then you can go in and do all the things you can do in the voicemail system. One of which is to change the password and the option to need to enter it if using the handset or not.

@CMIESC  use this article it shows you how to set/ change your voicemail password

Stay safe.

I would go into your self serve account and choose the option to reset your voicemail password. Then, the next time you call in, it will prompt you to choose a new password. Note that when you call in using your cell phone, you will not be asked fo the password.

Using a  phone service app to call your voice mail will not use minites. You can use anyones phone as well to do this. Public mobile outlines this in their "what uses minutes and what doesnt"

If you're on the $15 plan...you will consume minutes by checking your vm from your cell phone.

* A workaround is to get the $5 / 500minutes of Canada wide calling add-on to your plan. Any unused add-on minutes will roll over until you use them up...even if that takes several months or longer.

* Upgrade your PM plan to $25 or more to get Unlimited Canada wide calling.

Welcome aboard.

@CMIESC if you are on the $15 plan like me, calling voicemail to retrieve messages are counted against your 100 minutes. You can either call from another phone.

Or, you can add the TextNow app and use it over WiFi to make/ receive/ send calls and texts within Canada and to and from the US for free. You can also use it as I do to check my voicemail from my own phone without using the minutes from the PM plan. Simply dial your PM phone number - reject the call when it rings (this sends the call to voicemail) - press the * key to allow you to enter your password. - enter it followed by #  - and you are in your voicemail account - Hang up when you are finished. No minutes used.

Welcome to the community.  Stay safe.

People leaving messages...no. You checking and listening to them on the handset...yes. You listening to them from a voip app or another phone...no.

But also...only on the $15 plan (or obsolete $10 plan). The other talk plans are unlimited  anyway.
