my phone says its searching. Can't call out or receive calls. Can text ok and everything else seems ok.

There's no cancelling. You just don't re-pay to renew.
Edit: log in to your self-serve account and use the Change SIM function to get the last 4 digits of your SIM. Don't continue with anything here. Then look at your actual card in the phone and see if they match.

woohooo, tried it a second time and it came on !!!! So strange unless there was power outage foe my area . thanks so much !! Kevin.

just finished trying that , no luck. still getting call failed also searching is still at the top left of my iphone. Thanks for your effort !!!!

@gogs17 I'm assuming you have an iPhone since you are able to send messages
update your carrier services:
go to general>settings>about
iPhone reset network settings:
1. From the home screen navigate to Settings>General>Reset
2. Tap Reset Network Settings
If prompted enter your passcode
3. Tap Reset Network Settings
4. Restart your phone

First, attempt restarting phone. There could be a network outage in your area.
I'm a little bit confused. Messages such as "searching for service" would mean no signal. Text messages should work either if that's the case (unless you're using some sucg as iMessage).
