I am signing up for public mobile and porting my number from Rogers. I received the SIM card and activated it but it seems the wrong number was ported. (They are only different by one digit). How can I redo the porting of the number with the right number?

@SlippBC , try making a phone call to your phone and confirm that your account is indeed associated with a wrong phone number. You can also cross check in your online account under the profile tab.

Only thing to do is to contact an agent by clicking on the Chat icon and type in Submit a Ticket for an agent to help.
Your old SIM should still work as long as the person with the wrong number does confirm to the text…this is very slim that they will click on it because their carrier must match yours.
