Got a new plan last week, but the name was showing wrong. My wife said it is showing another lady's name when I call. I checked and the name on the profile was correct, so no way it is wrong. Please update for me

PM caller ID only send phone number and not name. Just ask your wife to save your number in the contact and it will show up correctly

PM does not pass the name on Caller ID, only the phone number
The reason your friends seeing a name display because the phones using some Caller ID lookup services. You have to contact those caller id services and ask them to update to your name.
If your friend using Samsung, might it is from Hiya service ( https://www.hiya.com/products-smart-call ). there are different services like that. But start with Hiya, contact them and ask them to update their database:
