Hi the person helping me at Walmart told me the plan I was activating included text and voicemail but it didn’t, it was data only. When I realized this later at home I had to change it and now I am being billed $30 to activate as well as 35 for the plan I actually needed. Can I be reimbursed or credited the $30?

@jchester73, as the rep at the retail location messed up, you should contact the Moderator_Team and clearly tell them what has happened. Your account will most likely be credited so that you will not need to pay for the next cycle, or for whatever changes need to be addressed.

Unfortunately caveat emptor... I think you should see if you can find the supervisor at walmart and get a store credit. You can read the Terms of Service here.
Prepaid service credits are non-refundable. After ninety days with no active rate plan, your account will be
automatically deactivated.

Generally, with prepaid plans there are no refunds, but I'm not really sure what the policy would be if Walmart was the one that made the mistake.
I guess you can try contacting Walmart to see what their policy is or send a message to the moderators here to see if they can credit your account. This is the link you can use to contact the moderators, but be aware that it can take a couple days to hear back from them, depending on their workload.

Probably not since you changed it in the middle of your billing cycle but you can contact a moderator to see what they can do for you at the link below.

PM plans are prepaid so no guarantee to get a refund but you can try contacting a moderator.
