Why is my phone in SOS

I switched to PM from Chatr and now my phone is not recieving a signal it's in sos status. What can i do to change that. i'm using an old blackberry curve phone.

Since your phone is incompatible with the PM/Koodo/Telus network, you can purchase either an unlocked phone or a phone locked to Telus from Staples, Best Buy, Walmart, Costco, Telus online, or London Drugs.

I personally recommend a refurbished 2013 Moto G from Telus online. It costs exactly $100 plus tax. Shipping is free, and the Public Mobile SIM card is free, too. I purchased 2 new Moto G phones, and they have worked flawlessly.

SOS MEANS EMERGENCY 911 OR EUROPEAN 112 CALLING ONLY.

YOUR OLD BLACKBERRY CURVE IS A 2Generation Device, We are now in third and Fourth Generation Technology, PM doesn't have a 2nd Generation Network so your device is not compatible with there Network. It will only work on Rogers, Fido, Chatr & once unlocked will also work on ice wireless in the territories
