What happens to my rewards when I upgrade my plan?

I am considering upgrading my plan but worried that I will lose the rewards I have gained over the years, what happens to my rewards? Do they stay?

Changing plans can cause some confusion for customers given the continual mentioning of public points and how many public points can be earned with this or with that plan.

It has caused some members to believe they must switch to public points when changing plans - that is not the case.

When you select a plan change, it is always recommended to select the change on the next renewal.

By doing this, you do not forfeit what is remaining on your current cycle as there are no refunds or prorations when immediate plan changes are done.

And thankfully, you will retain the Legacy reward programs so no worries there.

All your rewards will remain as long as you don’t voluntarily click on switching to the points system. Your old legacy rewards system is a lot better and you will receive your monthly reward credit instead of collecting 5% of your monthly bill in points.
