Welcome Bonus 5 Points Inquiry

Hi there, I joined Public in Nov 2024. It has been just over four months, but I haven't received the Welcome Bonus of 5 points. After a quick review of the posts in this Community, I noticed many users have experienced challenges with receiving the Welcome Bonus, so it seems like a common issue that doesn't have an easy or quick fix. Is anyone able to give some insight/advice on who to contact to get the points added to my account? Thanks in advance!

Hi @ORNGNBLK the only reason I knew about this sign-up bonus/welcome gift was because after I subscribed, the Rewards section in the PM app made mention of a "welcome bonus" for registering my account for the Rewards program. It did not, however, clearly state what that gift would be, and I saw while doing reading online that people were being offered $5 in points. I presume it was being offered to me as a new subscriber then, and it's maybe still available now, but I don't actually know. I will definitely update the Community if I hear back from a CS Agent. Thanks!

Thanks @BKNS27 for replying. After going through the prompts and providing required info, I did eventually reach the "submit a ticket" hyperlink via using the chatbot, but the page it brought me to just didn't have the form to create the ticket. Not sure why it doesn't work for me.

@Liv007  I noticed around August of 2024 that new subscribers were no longer receiving the $5 “Welcome Present”. It was also around that time that any written indication of it on any PM material had also disappeared. Unfortunately, I think that the welcome present /welcome points for new subscribers is gone. However, if you are successful in receiving it from a CS_Agent AND/OR still see it as part of the sign up deal, please send a screenshot here. I would love to be able to tell people about it again… but since August, I’ve left it out of my conversion/referral speech. 🙂

You need to type in “Submit a Ticket” or “Contact a CS_Agent” on Chatbot and it will prompt you.

As far as I know, it should have been added into your account when you create an account/activate your SIM. I confirmed the Welcome Points by login to my account then to Rewards tab>View All Activities>set the date on Date Range to November 1/24 to December 31/24.

Thanks @computergeek541 - I tried going through the chatbot but the link to open a ticket keeps bringing me to a page that doesn't actually have a form to generate a ticket. I don't know if it's just down or they are redirecting it to someplace else.  I am thinking it's okay to message a Customer Agent and let them know of the issue, and then they can give me guidance on how to submit a ticket properly if it truly is a system problem? Thanks for answering!

Please remember that customers are required to use the chatbot to open tickets.  Using the ticketing system isn't optional.
