I noticed a voicemail pending on my phone this morning. There was no sign of a missed call but nonetheless, an unheard voicemail was waiting for me.
As the prompt was relaying the number of the received voicemail, the voice tone changed to a Male voice, and interrupted the reading of the number half way through. It was abrupt and unclear.
Following that, the message read something like the following: 'If you don't call back this number we will issue a warrant for your arrest. Thank you'.
This message, obviously sounding very scammy, was still unsettling. It's the first time I've had something like this happen through my Public Mobile account.
I wanted to post this for everybody and see if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I got this voice message as well last week. Part of the recording seems to have been chopped off as I could not tell which party wants me arrested and for what. They did not supply a call back number, so it is impossible to comply. I get so many spam calls these days, way more than legit calls. I have pretty thick skin with this kind of stuff these days.

@stellarPeaks There is due process to have a warrant out for your arrest. They are likely scammers trying to scam you. If you are ever actually worried (slightly unnerved) call your local police station and confirm this because it is not impossible to have a warrent issued for your arrest although I received the same or a very similar message not long ago and just deleted it. What was the number they told you to call back?

Sounds like the CRA scam call. Weird it went directly to voicemail. Were you on hte phone or in an area that had no service when the call came in?
