So, did you buy it? I also have mi6 and its perfectly fine on LTE+ (band 7/2600), maybe you must live in a big city or its the Bell antenna, but its fast (50 mo/s)

There's also no B40 (TDD) for mobile devices.

You won't have any problems with 3G network. In terms of LTE, you may not get as good coverage as 3G signal, as your phone only support band 7 and band40.  I found their 3G network fast enough so I personally don't feel the need of LTE.

PM's "3G" plans are not aptly named - I find the term, the way it's used, actually misleading and IMHO something like "LTE light" would be more appropriate. These plans are reduced / throttled speed but will use the LTE network (and therefore have LTE latency) where available and supported by your phone.

While I agree with you that the OP's phone, a European version as far as I can tell, will work fine on Telus' 3G frequencies (ie it's ok for talk, text and 3G data), they have specifically asked about LTE compatibility. The answer to that has been given above: very limited, with major bands missing.

What model phone do you have?

Hi @marywong43

It's missing the majority of LTE bands, so I would not recommend it. Look for a phone that has WCDMA B2/B5, and LTE B2/B4/B5/B7/B12.

B5 and B7 LTE may not be available in many locations.

Missing Band 4 for LTE, you will be on 3g most of the time.
