Volte on phone

Hello. I just checked my phone IMEI # on PM website. It shows that my phone is Volte capable and 5g. But when I call, it falls back to 3G. Do I have to contact PM to get Volte activated or just wait and it will be activated in due course. Thanks

Did you a actually use the PM VoLTE checker? If it shows VoLTE compatible, ask PM to check the system 

Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

IMS  not registered, voice over Lte - not available, 

So that probably means Volte is not available on my phone.

@ipsd , try checking the IMS registration on your phone.  Dial #*#*4636*#*# on the phone dialer to bring up the hidden menu, select phone information and select the IMS service status to see if VoLTE is registered.  

You don't need to toggle on, the system hide the toggle on purpose 

if it is compatible on PM network , the system will turn it on for you. Soz you compatible screenshot is from PM VoLTE checker?

There is no Volte toggle. But there is toggle for 4G Calling and that is on.

@ipsd , what phone are you using?  The VoLTE checker is a fairly new function.  I would assume the checker is generally accurate with perhaps the odd outlier outcome.  As for activating VoLTE for an account, there is no such thing.  VoLTE is available on all accounts.  The VoLTE functionality is 100% determined by the hardware compatibility.
