Hi, I was told that my bill was charged more than usual because my phone is not in Volte list.
Is that means if I keep current phone, my bill will be charged extra $5 for each month like my last bill?
Will it be possible that you update your Volte list in short future?
Thank you!

What phone do you have? Public Mobile confirmed our family in an earlier ticket that they will keep updating the list. But older phones that are not on the list likely won't be added.
What model of phone is yours?
If you are getting a new phone, I would stick with major brands, stay with true Canadian models. If your big from small shops or marketplaces, many of them are imported phones and won't work here. So, avoid those

Yes you will be billed for $5/month charge until March 1/27. After that date, your phone will no longer make or receive calls.
What phone were you thinking of purchasing? Once you decided what phone you plan to get. You can Google it: “Will the XXX phone VoLTE compatible on the Public Mobile Network?”. It will tell you Yes it is compatible OR No not officially compatible on PM network.
Also stick with North American issued phones.

they won't just wireless a particular phone because we asked
so it's more we have to get a phone that is already on their whitelist
I'm sorry, I don't understand what this the second sentence means.
@Mei9 - We as customers have asked Public Mobile to extend their VoLTE list for a while now and we never get anywhere. Public Mobile works with phone/hardware makers like Samsung, iPhone, Motorola, TCL to work on their network. Now, everyone knows that there are several other phones out there that will work with no issues on their network that will work on their competitors networks, however, that's a choice they make. There are actions you can take, however, it would be a very long road that will lead to nowhere.
