Does setting up your voicemail take away from your minutes if you're on a $10 plan?

Yes, if you're setting up the voice message account, it uses your minutes any time you are doing something like that or otherwise calling in to check messages using your cell phone.

If you are on that tight of a minutes budget...maybe take advatage of the $5 - 500 minutes of Canada wide calling add-on. For $5, you'll get 500 minutes of Canada wide calling and those minutes don't expire until you use them up..even if it takes 2 years..they'll just roll over to next cycle as long as your plan stays active. Perdy sweet deal, n'es pas ?

If you try to access the voicemail you receive, it will take away minutes from your plan
