Hi there,
I’ve just bought a monthly subscription with a new phone number, however it asks me for a 6 digit code as there’s an active Public Mobile service. The code has been sent to the number I bought but can’t verify it as I’m not receiving any text messages.
Could you please help me with this?

Hi there,
Trying to call the number, it’s ringing, but my phone is not receiving any calls - does someone else have the number?
also, I have been using an international number, so in order to receive texts via that number, would have to turn roaming on.

are you receiving incoming calls yet? and did you requested porting?
if you request porting, put your old sim card back to the phone, maybe the text has sent there. If the text sent there, it also mean the port was not done yet
