Thought that I should report re our vacation to Seattle, WA. Purchased 10 day add-ons talk, text, data for me and talk, text for my wife's phone. T-Mobile does not work on 2g, as we had hoped. No signals at all. All that we could do was use LTE 4g for texting only, no talk of course because Volte is not available to us with Public Mobile. We are back in Canada now, but wonder if there is a way to be re-imbursed. Main thing is to advise that the system did not seem to be in place now.
Any other experiences recently, folks?

@RJR , I was in WA in July. I was wary that T-Mobile 2G capability in the state was somewhat non existent based on a previous visit a number of years ago. So, I just went with data only and used google voice to do talk and text. What really surprised me was US 101 was horrible still.

Yes, Seattle supposed to have the 2G network according to https://www.gsma.com/coverage/#466
But the 2G service with T-Mobile is definitely unreliable
Since you can only use data and text and not the full bundle, PM will likely provide you with some form of compensation, just open a ticket with PM support and provide them your experience:
