I received an email last week saying I had used 95% of my data, I checked my data usage today and I’m at 72%, why the discrepancy?

maybe just due to browser cache. Try to login using Incognit/Private/Secret mode on your browser and check what usage it shows

Try again incognito/private mode
And or lap top /computer
OR
simply try refreshing the page to check data plan / mins / add ons
