Urgent - replace physical sim with esim

I need to replace my physical sim with an esim Urgently

i have lost my physical SIM card and need an eSIM replacement with the same phone number urgently so that I can access my online banking

the International text is to receive text when you are in Canada, ie, you can receive text from your overseas friends.  It is not to send text or receive text when you are not in Canada

Thank you! Last question I promise - I can see international minutes on plans offered by public mobile, is it possible to receive texts internationally with public mobile?

yes, you will get to keep the same number as you are logged in with the same email address

Just click on Resend Code or Didn’t Receive Code and have the 2FA code sent to your email.

Thank you for the help but I can’t login to the app as I have lost the SIM card and therefore don’t have access to the phone number and you need to be able to receive a text to login to the app.

you can do so if you can login using email or voicemail to receive 2FA

first, download the app on your new phone and login.  If you have problem with receiving 2FA code, click "Didn't Receive code" or "Resend code" and choose either Send email or Send voice message

Once logged in, Click Account from the bottom, then click Purchase SIM Card and select eSIM

Once it confirms your phone is eSIM compatible, click Pay $  and Install

If you cannot login the app to buy eSIM, then the fastest way is to go to a Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klink store and buy a Public Mobile sim card.  Then message PM CS agent and ask them to update the sim card number.  Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after ticket submitted, CS Agent will reply to you there

To replace with eSIM on the same account. Just login to your account on the PM app and purchase an eSIM under Accounts then Purchase SIM Card and there is an option for eSIM.
