PM is pre-paid service. If you do not pay, plan/service is suspended until you pay. After 90 days of no payment, your account is deleted.

Are you currently in nonpay/suspeneded status now?
If so, for how long? If after 90 days in this status your account is closed (edit as @Anonymous already posted!) and you lose your phone number and access to self serve.

There are no "past due charges" here. If your account is suspended then you can pay to renew for another term. If your account is deactivated (after 90 days in suspension) then the account is dead.
So if you can login to your account then you can go into Make a payment and a little line lower down to the left Manage my card and remove and re-add a card. If unsuccessful then only try once more and then wait an hour if still unsuccessful. Make sure the address you enter matches the billing address of the payment card. Don't include a space in the postal or else drop the last digit.
