That's hard to say. I personally don't have a complaint regarding PM. I have been a customer for 5 years. My biggest concern in the beginning was that there was no live service here in case I needed to speak to someone about my account.
In the 5 years, however, I've only had to message them once, and that was about 3 months ago. That interaction was unfortunately not pleasant. In the time I have been a customer, I have been on the same plan without any price increases.
The refer a friend program is good. The 5% points back is good. I don't know of any other telecom company that offers that, not even the parent company.
I am concerned however with recent posts about issues with ongoing system failure to update addresses, credit card information, cache issues and few other complaints. These are things that seriously needs to be fixed by Telus and passes down to PM for better customer satisfaction.
The other benefit is that you are not locked in to a contract. If you don't like it, you can port out at anytime.
Choose wisely.
