Unanswered calls do not go to voicemail

Fixed the phone to ring up to 6 times to allow more time to answer.  However any unanswered calls do not go to voicemail.  How to fix?

Since you mentioned you were reprogramming your maximum ring time, you likely set the conditional call forwards to a number other than your voicemail deposit number.

Dial ##004# to revert all conditional call forwards to the default voicemail servers. The 6-ring delay should still be preserved afterwards.

if you want to compare the before/after settings dial each of these codes and write down the results before and after dialling ##004#

*#61#

*#62#

*#67#

You should see a number ending in 4001 usually in those responses. if not you can try setting any one of the local voicemail access numbers across Canada, ie:

*004*3065804001#

What is in your calling/calling accounts/sim/forwarding settings?

If you wipe it all blank the system will pickup the closest VM number

Hi @medoehler was your phone working properly before you changed the number of rings on your device?  If it was, perhaps you just need to reboot your phone.

 @medoehler : You need to set the call-forwarding options in your phone dialer to something like +17785804001. If you're on a new provincial plan then you need one of those numbers in your province. Usually an area code that belongs to your province.
