Unable to redeem Fiona 2GB data promo code

I live in the Atlantic Canada and was hit by Fiona. I got the message about the 2GB data for 30 days, but whenever I try to put the code in Plan & Add-Ons section I get this error: This is not a valid promotion code. Please help.

@dust2dust  it could be just by the area code.  Like you said address can be anything but most people put their real address I would think 

@GR- Interesting with the accounts that did not get the text. So that's that theory gone. My bet is really just on the area code because the address can be anything.

@dust2dust   I just figured it's probably got to do with either the phone number or address.  Some of my kids did not get the text and I tried the promo code on their account and it worked.  All my accounts have Nova Scotia phone numbers and addresses 

@GR- Interesting. Do you have some evidence that the postal code is also being looked for? I ask because the postal code can be anything. Even H0H0H0. 🙂 I then also wonder that it's just the customers that got the text who are eligible. Which is fine.

HI @NatalieWilliams   It should work if you have a phone number from those province.

 

But in case it still does not work, yes, you can open ticket with CS agent and they can apply it for you if you are eligible for it

then Click "Contact Us"
then Click "Other"
finally Click "Click here to submit a ticket"
you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

@NatalieWilliams is your phone number and postal code from the maritimes?  If not that could be a reason why it does not work.  I put it on 4 of my accounts and it worked.

Try in private mode. Keep trying. It seems to be valid and working for many people. Not sure about case but just do it with matching case.
