Unable to receive calls and msg

I bought public mobile sim and i switched my old number to public mobile. My sim is activated and i can make calls. But i am unable to receive msg and same for calls can’t receive any msg and call. Why please assist me. I am iPhone user.

@uzairshahidkhan Did you just port over recently?  I found that some ports are fast while others can take a little while.  I had 1 phone where it took 6hrs to complete the port process.  I had similar symptoms as you were outbound calls worked but inbound rang on the old provider/phone.  I'd suggest rebooting your phone to see if that makes a difference.  If you've just completed the port maybe give it a few hrs to see if the port completed.  Otherwise contact PM at the number that @softech has provided to you to follow up with PM.

A critical part to porting is to receive a text from your old provider and you have to reply YES within 90 mins.  If you are not receiving calls and text on your PM sim card, and only outgoing calls, wok  then you might have missed the step and hence porting was not completed

 

There is a number to call to talk to live support,  they can re-trigger the process for you.  I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) .  Check the envelope icon on top right.  Call them and get it fixed
