Hi,
I tried to port my chatr number to public mobile but cannot get passed "Check Eligibility". I got the following message. I sent a private message to @CS_Agent 2 days ago. I have not received any response. Moderators, if you see this post please help.

We were unable to transfer the phone number you entered. Try one of the following options:
- Make sure you entered your number correctly.
- Select a new number.
- Contact the Public Mobile Community for further assistance.

There are a few select numbers that can not be ported. I would message the mods again with your chatr info and ask them to try porting again. And if they can't ask them for the reasons why.

Both numbers are active and working (chatr and public mobile). I just need to port.

I got an account number and name from chatr. I cannot not get to the step to enter the account number and name. Everytime I click on the button "Check Eligibility". I got the error below...

Based on the description, progress was stopped well short of entering any account number. The account number will be required eventually. At the moment I am sure the number is active.

@justingiaolan, if you can't pass the eligibility check, I am thinking your line has expired. The eligibility check is pretty much a check the phone number is residing in an active account. There's not much that can go won't with a number check.

@justingiaolan Try activating your SIM with a new number. Request the Chatr transfer once you are sure the account is fully functional. Info: BE PREPARED

You probably need to call chatr and ask them for your account number. And provide that and account name in order to complete the port.
