Unable to find my IMEI Number. What can I do?

Hi,

I live in Toronto and have a mobile phone from australia which I want to use on the public mobile network. I tipped in the IMEI to check if my phone is cabable. The system can not find that IMEI Number. Does that mean that my phone will not be able to conect to the public mobile network?

How can I find out if it will work or not?

Hi,

Just know that you can obtain your IMEI number by pressing *#06# on your mobile phone.

The IMEI checker only tells you if the phone is black listed in North America.

You can check it on https://willmyphonework.net/ or go to your user manual and find out if your phone has the required frequencies: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Discussions/LTE-network-fundamentals/m-p/198799/highl...

@123Tom123, The IMEI check is only to see if the phone was reported stolen, etc.  To see if your phone is compatible, go to willMyPhoneWork.net or frequencycheck.com and follow the instructions.

Let us know if you have difficulty.
