Do I need to do a US roaming add on when I’m in the States. I have Hero International text on my plan, an add on of 1000 US LD mins and 500 International LD mins ?

yes, you still need to buy Roaming addon

The International text is for you to receive text IN CANADA from overseas friend.  The 1000 US LD mins and 500 International LD mins are used to call other countries when you are IN CANADA

to use your service in US, you need to buy one of the Roaming add-on, like the $30 US roaming bundle for 15 days
