US talk-text add-on doesn't work

I purchased an add-on for talk text US roaming,  and it shows in my account and charged the $15 but now that I'm in the US I can't make calls or text or receive voice mail. Please help as I have some urgent family concerns and need to be available..

That's not entirely true. I've used that add-on for trips to USA (before Trump) and had no trouble using for talk / text and data. The VoLTE issue can be confusing but the attachment should clarify...

that's odd...you should at least be recieving texts. Make sure to enable Roaming to get data to work...(but you didn't buy the data add-on) For calls you need to have a VoLTE recognized cellphone. Here's something to read with a device checker at the end of the article...

Check network settings and select AT&T or T-Mobile.
